What I do in school

Hello Blog,

As you may know, I study at Victoria School. Well, if you don't know, Victoria School is located at 2 Siglap Link, once you reach there, it shouldn't be unnoticed, it is quite a big building. However, it looks like this(right)...

However, what I want to talk about is what HAPPENS in Victoria School. If you have any queries about the school, you can always go to the Victoria School Public Website. You know, in school, many people think going to school is boring, having being drilled by teachers for 5 hours in the morning, it can be tiring. Yet, I am proud to be a "Victorian"(a student that studies in Victoria School or Victoria Junior College). Whatever that happens in school, is not that boring, but still rather interesting. For example, whatever that happened in my co-curricular activity is definitely more fun than my school curriculum.

Now, if you do not know, I belong to Victoria School Concert Band(VSCB). VSCB is a good band, they have scored Gold in the Singapore Youth Festival(SYF) many times, nd probably won some Gold With Honours. Needless to say, we are aiming to get Gold With Honours again this time in SYF, but it is going to take A LOT of practice. What we do in our band practice everyday is of course perfecting our pieces, and making music. Now, today, we had another band practice again with our conductor Mr Tan Beng Wee. Obviously he started pointing out our weaknesses, and therefore trying to clear them. With our problems solved, then we could play with more colour and vibrance. Then, we practiced our instruments, hoping to get better. I played the clarinet, one of the instruments that belonged to the higher woodwinds section of the entire band.

Still, however, you may think band may seem boring to you, it is interesting. We learn marching like uniformed groups and play music. However you may think, I enjoy what I do in school.

How about you? I hope you like what you do. It is late. See you!
